HOW TO GET PROOF OF YOUR CORONAVIRUS VACCINATION STATUS

If you’re planning to travel abroad, you can get proof that you’ve been vaccinated against coronavirus. Some countries may also require a negative COVID-19 test result. Always check entry requirements for the country you are visiting before you book your travel.

You can get your COVID-19 vaccination status if ALL OF THE FOLLOWING apply You have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses).  Your booster vaccine will also be available in the app.

You were vaccinated at a GP surgery, vaccination centre or hospital in  England

You are aged 16 or older

From 3rd February 2022,  children/young people between the age of 13 -15 years,  if they have their own mobile phone,  can download the NHS app and access their Covid passes for international travel themselves

 

In the NHS app* By calling 119 for a letter
You can call 119 and ask for a letter with your COVID-19 vaccination status to be posted to you.

 

It must be at least FIVE DAYS after you complete your course of the vaccine, and it will take up to SEVEN WORKING days to reach you.

COVID RECOVERY CERTIFICATES:

Please be advised that The Chelsea Practice can provide recovery letters for travel at a cost of £50 per letter for NHS PCR results.  This may take up to 10 days to issue this letter.

We cannot provide a letter if you had a private PCR test.
